Methi Thepla is a famous Gujarati dish made with flour, herbs and fenugreek leaves. It is a great lunch box choice.
Put Besan, wheat flour, fenugreek leaves, carom seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, asafoetida, ginger, curd & oil in a bowl. Mix nicely with your fingertips.
See VideoAdd a little water and knead to make a soft dough. Cover and keep the dough for 15-20 minutes. Add little oil and knead the dough again.
See VideoMake a Ball from the dough. Dust and roll the balls to a circle with a rolling pin. Heat oil on a Tawa. Put the thepla on the hot tawa and cook from both sides till brown spots appear.
