Pulav usually doesn't resonate with healthy recipes, and yet here we are with this delicious yet healthy pulav made with quinoa. Served with raita, this recipe will surely surprise you with its perfect blend of masalas and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • onion

    2 Numbers

  • carrot

    1 Numbers

  • oil

    1 1/2 tablespoon

  • shahi jeera

    1 teaspoon

  • coriander powder

    2 teaspoon

  • cinnamon powder

    1/4 teaspoon

  • green chilli

    2 Numbers

  • cardamom powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • red chilli powder

    1 teaspoon

  • french beans

    1 cup

  • potato

    2 Numbers

  • quinoa

    1 cup

  • salt

    As required

  • water

    2 cup

  • lemon juice

    1 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1/4 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves

    1 teaspoon

  • yogurt

    1 cup

  • boondi

    1 tablespoon

  • red chilli powder

    1/4 teaspoon

  • cumin powder

    1/4 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves

    1 teaspoon

  • lemon juice

    1 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1/4 teaspoon

Preparation

Step 1

Chop some onions and then chop some carrots.

Pour in some oil in a cooker and heat it. Once the oil is heated, add in some shahi jeera, coriander powder, cinnamon powder, deseeded green chilies and some cardamom powder. Give it a mix.

Put in some red chilli powder and the chopped onions into it. Cook it on a low flame and keep stirring. Add the beans, chopped carrots and potatoes into the cooker. Mix well.
