This flavourful noodle soup is spicy, slurpy and chewy with the right balance of noodles, chicken and broth. Here's how you can put together Chicken Thukpa at home.

    250 grams

  • onion

    2 Numbers

  • cloves

    7 pieces

  • tomato

    1 Numbers

  • coriander leaves

    2 tablespoon

  • garlic

    4 cloves

  • green chillies

    2 teaspoon

  • szechuan pepper seeds

    1 teaspoon

  • oil

    1 tablespoon

  • carrot

    1 cup

  • cabbage

    1 cup

  • noodles

    1 cup

  • red chilli sauce

    1 teaspoon

  • soy sauce

    1 teaspoon

  • spring onions

    As required

  • coriander leaves

    As required

  • water

    5 cup

  • salt

    As required


Step 1

Prepare stock by boiling chicken, water, large onion slices and cloves together.

To make thukpa paste, grind tomato, onion, coriander leaves, garlic, ginger, green chilli and schezwan pepper.

Heat oil in a wok, add prepared paste into it and saute for 3-4 min.
