Frittata is an egg-based dish that is similar to an omelette or crustless quiche or scrambled eggs. Frittata in Italian means fried. You can add as many vegetables and seasoning to a frittata according to what you like. The perfect frittata should be creamy, full of veggies and absolutely melt in the mouth. A bland or dry frittata is a complete no. The numerous veggies give a good bite to the otherwise soft egg used in the preparation. The best part about making a frittata is that it can be cooked with absolutely minimal and basic ingredients. It is the perfect breakfast food that can be used for making the leftover vegetables and some eggs in the fridge. It is also easy to eat and transport. You can cook it at home for a nice meal or pack some for an office lunch or picnic. While one can experiment as much with a frittata, here is a fool proof recipe that won’t disappoint you and your folks.
