A dish with the best combination of sweet corn and cheese is a perfect starter recipe and is loved by all age groups. These deep-fried cheese balls are also best savoured at tea-time on a cloudy and cool day. Made with easily available ingredients, it makes a great snack idea when we have unexpected guests. Serve Corn Cheese Balls Recipe hot with dips, mint chutney or tomato ketchup.


Serves 3
  • processed cheese

    1 cup

  • corn kernel

    1 cup

  • corn starch

    1 tablespoon

  • green chilli

    1 teaspoon

  • red chilli powder

    1 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1 teaspoon

  • salt

    As required

  • baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves

    1 teaspoon

  • all purpose flour

    1/2 cup


Step 1

Mix together crushed sweet corn kernels, processed cheese, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, green chilli, cornstarch, baking soda, maida, and coriander leaves in a bowl.

Step 2

Dampen your palms with some water, divide the dough into equal portions and shape into balls.

Step 3

Refrigerate the balls for an hour.
