  • potato5 medium
  • water As required
  • mint leaves1 cup
  • coriander leaves1 cup
  • onion1/2 cup
  • sugar1 teaspoon
  • green chillies3 Numbers
  • lemon juice1 dash
  • garlic3 Numbers
  • red chilli powder1 teaspoon
  • vegetable oil2 tablespoon
  • mustard sauce1 tablespoon
  • mayonnaise1 tablespoon
  • black pepper1 teaspoon
  • salt As required
  • apple cider vinegar2 drops
  • spring onions1/2 cup
  • ice cubes2 Numbers
  • onion1/2 cup

Preparation

Step 1

Add some whole potatoes in some water in a vessel. Cover it with a lid and let it boil.

Add some mint leaves and some coriander into a mixer grinder. Add some chopped onions. Add a little sugar into it. Stuff some chillies inside the mixer. Squeeze a lemon over it. Now add some garlic cloves into it. Mix it. Check and add some water into it. Now mix it well. Add ice cube into it the chutney. And mix again.

Remove the boiled potatoes. Let it cool down and then peel it. Chop the potatoes into small pieces. Now add some red chilli powder into it and toss it to mix the two. Heat some oil in a pan. Add the potatoes to the pan. And simply toss it.

Add some kasundi (Bengali Mustard) or any mustard sauce. Add some mayo to it. Add a pinch of red chilli powder and another pinch of pepper powder. Sprinkle some salt to taste. Add a few drops of vinegar into it. Now add some of the green chutney. Mix it well together.

Pour the dressing over the pan of potatoes. Mix it and coat the potato chunks with the dressing. Take the serving bowl and add some chopped spring onions into it. Now add long slices of onion. And finally, add the potatoes over it. Serve & relish this delicious potato salad!
