This classic Mango Barfi recipe is a great, healthy treat for your whole family. Since it's homemade, it contains no unhealthy colours, artificial flavours or sweeteners or chalky fillers. It's also ridiculously easy to whip up.


Serves 3
  • ghee

    1 teaspoon

  • mango pulp

    1 cup

  • cashew nuts

    25 Numbers

  • almonds

    20 Numbers

  • milk powder

    1/3 cup

  • desicated coconut

    1/3 cup

  • sugar

    1/3 cup

  • ghee

    As required

  • cardamom powder

    1/4 teaspoon


Step 1

Roast the dry fruits until light brown, cool and grind into a coarse powder. Keep aside.

Cook the mango pulp for a few seconds and add the sugar, cook this until it thickens.

Add the rest of the ingredients and cook this further until the mixture forms a dough and starts leaving the sides of the pan, add cardamom powder and switch off the flame.
