The first impression of any summer party is what drinks you serve to your guests. And nothing can be better than a punch of fruity mocktails that will equip your beverage section and take guests by surprise. Mocktails are non-alcoholic versions of cocktails with the colour and zing of alcoholic beverages intact. While these are easy to prepare, their servings are made interesting with various add-ons and side dishes. The beauty of serving these mocktails is also in using the right kind of glasses. Here are three mocktail menus for your next weekend party.


Serves 3
  • lemon wedges4 Numbers
  • sugar As required
  • mint leaves3 Numbers
  • soda As required
  • salt As required
  • ice As required
  • banana2 Numbers
  • pineapple1 cup
  • coconut milk1/2 cup
  • pineapple juice2 cup
  • orange juice1/4 cup
  • coriander leaves As required
  • honey1 teaspoon


Step 1

Take the lemon wedges, sugar and mint leaves in a glass and muddle them together to extract the juices.

Add your choice of soda, serve in a tall glass along with some crushed ice. You may add a straw of your choice. Serve chilled.

Add the bananas, diced pineapples, sugar, pineapple juice, coconut milk and ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth.

Strain the drink into a serving glass and top it with some whipped cream. Pick a wide-mouthed glass to serve. Serve chilled.

Add both the juices, coriander leaves and honey in a glass with some ice cubes. Cover the glass and shake gently.

Strain the drink into a conical cocktail glass. Garnish with some diced pineapple and a lemon wedge on the side of the glass. To serve, use a wide-mouthed glass. Serve chilled.
