Paneer Burji Recipe with steps: Paneer AKA Indian cottage cheese is said to be the Indian version of cheese. Paneer bhurji is made of herbs, spices, you can also put the choice of veggies. In a heavy bottom pan or kadhai, heat oil and butter/ghee together. Add cumin seeds and allow it to crackle. Then add garlic, ginger and green chilies and fry for a minute or until raw smell goes off.
Add onions and fry for 3-4 minutes until onions become soft and translucent.
Add turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder, tomatoes and sauté for another minute. Add water if needed, Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes until tomatoes are soft. Add salt as per taste.
