  • chicken

    1 kilograms

  • ginger garlic chilli paste

    2 tablespoon

  • lemon juice

    1 tablespoon

  • kashmiri mirch powder

    2 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1 teaspoon

  • cumin powder

    1 teaspoon

  • yogurt

    1 cup

  • fried onion

    1 cup

  • kewra water

    3 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves

    2 tablespoon

  • mint leaves

    3 tablespoon

  • basmati rice

    500 grams

  • ghee

    2 tablespoon

  • cloves

    2 pieces

  • green cardamom

    2 Numbers

  • cinnamon stick

    1 Numbers

  • black peppercorns

    6 Numbers

  • bay leaves

    2 Numbers

  • star anise

    1 Numbers

  • refined flour

    2 cup

  • water

    As required

  • salt

  • black sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate chicken in yoghurt, ginger-garlic-chilli paste, fried onions, kashmiri chilli powder, juice of one lemon, biryani masala, cumin powder, kewra water, chopped coriander, mint leaves and salt. Keep aside for 30 minutes.

Next, wash and soak the rice for 20 mins.

Now heat ghee in a kadai and fry the whole spices for a few seconds. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 10 mins on low heat.
