Betel Nut

The scientific name for betel nut is Areca catechu, and it does have some health benefits for the human body. Betel nut is a single trunk that is medium in size and an evergreen tree that grows well in tropical and sub-tropical climates. The trunk has pinnate leaves and bears white flowers. It contains oil, alkaloids and many alkaloids that are useful for the body. It is traditionally eaten as a paan.
