What's not to love about kachoris? They are crispy, savoury and yummy. These deep-fried are a perfect accompaniment to your evening tea. Here is a recipe on how to make them.


Ingredients

  • all purpose flour

    1 1/2 cup

  • carom seeds

    1/4 teaspoon

  • oil

    4 tablespoon

  • water

    As required

  • coriander seeds

    1 teaspoon

  • fennel seeds

    1 teaspoon

  • cumin seeds

    1 teaspoon

  • kasuri methi

    1 teaspoon

  • oil

    1 tablespoon

  • garlic

    2 Numbers

  • green chilli

    2 Numbers

  • onion

    1 Numbers

  • besan

    3 tablespoon

  • salt

    1 teaspoon

  • black salt

    1/2 teaspoon

  • kashmiri mirch powder

    1 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1/2 teaspoon

  • amchur powder

    1 teaspoon

  • potato

    2 Numbers

  • sugar

    1 teaspoon

  • onion

    1 Numbers

  • oil

    As required

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, add maida, carom seeds, and oil.

Next, add water and knead into semi-soft dough. Cover this with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and kasuri methi in a pan on a low flame for 2 minutes. Once cooled, coarsely grind them.
