Ingredients

  • maize flour

    1 cup

  • whole wheat flour

    1/2 cup

  • salt

    1 teaspoon

  • chilli flakes

    1 teaspoon

  • water

    2/3 cup

  • oregano flakes

    1 teaspoon

  • salt

    1/2 teaspoon

  • cumin powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • amchur powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • red chilli powder

    1 teaspoon

  • coriander powder

    1 teaspoon

  • rock salt

    1/2 teaspoon

  • milk

    1/4 cup

  • salted butter

    1 tablespoon

  • turmeric powder

    1 Pinch

  • chilli flakes

    1 teaspoon

  • mexican seasoning

    1 teaspoon

  • black olive

    1 teaspoon

  • jalapeños

    1 teaspoon

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, take maize flour, whole wheat flour, salt and red chilli flakes. Mix them well. Gradually add in cold water and knead it into a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Step 2

In another bowl, add all the spices for the spice mix and mix well. Take one portion of the dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it. Take a rolling pin and roll it into a thin chapati/sheet. Cut the rough edges with a knife or cutter.

Step 3

Prick this sheet with a fork. Heat a pan or tawa and cook this sheet lightly from both sides without ghee or oil. Transfer to a plate and cut it into triangles (8 equal pieces)
