Dal is a part of our staple diet plan and, Dal palak has given a very nutritious angle to it. It’s a highly nutritious and basic dish. This dish is a combination of Moon Dal and Spinach and some other spices. Preparation time is less than 30 mins & the dish can be consumed in lunch or dinner. It is best served with steamed rice and roti.
spinach

moong dal
1 cup
turmeric powder
1 teaspoon
lemon juice
4 drops
salt

ghee
2 tablespoon
garlic
1 tablespoon
ginger
1 tablespoon
asafoetida powder
1 teaspoon
turmeric powder
1 teaspoon
cumin seeds
1 teaspoon
green chilli

kashmiri mirch powder
1 teaspoon
Chop up the palak. Take soaked moong dal and put it in a pressure Cooker. Add water, chopped spinach, salt, lime juice and turmeric powder.
Heat ghee in a small pan. When the ghee is hot, add ginger, garlic, asafoetida, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, dry red chili and green chilli.
Add red chilli powder and immediately pour the ghee over the cooked dal. The dal palak is now ready!
