Start with the broccoli. Chop the stems and use florets too. Chef Sid says that the tender portion on the inside of the broccoli stalk is high in nutrients and would lend additional texture to your sald. Chop 1 whole tomato. Remove the seeds from them if you don't want your salad to have too much moisture. Cut the cucumber into pieces.
Pour 1 cup of couscous into boiling water and add salt. Make sure you read the instructions on your packet of couscous, in order to cook it. Couscous does not take long to cook. After you turn off the flame, toss the couscous and add 1 tbsp olive oil into it.
Boil the water for the broccoli to blanch. Remove the broccoli from the water and transfer it to a bowl. Dice the 100 gms chicken breast in small cubes and boil it.
