Peanuts have always made up for a great bar snack. Marinated, used in salads, peanuts are a great source of nutrition too. However, roasted peanuts alone could be boring for an evening snack. Hence, they are spiced up. The mixture of spices and peanuts may give life to your beverages and drinks. Everyone loves the flavour of these ingredients. But dry peanuts increase thirst. Hence, chutneys complement masala peanut. Being a quick recipe, you can make crispy masala peanuts at home. Here’s the recipe:
peanuts
1 cup
water
As required
oil
As required
gram flour
As required
chaat masala
As required
rock salt
1/4 teaspoon
salt
1/4 teaspoon
garam masala
1/2 teaspoon
asafoetida powder
1 Pinch
turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon
red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon
baking soda
1 Pinch
Take peanuts in a bowl. Add some water and soak the peanuts in it for 2-3 minutes.
Drain all the water from the bowl and add besan to the peanuts, and coat well.
Add salt, rock salt, turmeric powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder, garam masala, heeng and baking soda. Mix and coat well. Add besan as required to coat the peanuts from all sides.
