ghee
1 teaspoon
Add ½ teaspoon oil to the pan and add the mustard seeds after the oil is warm.
Add a medium-sized chopped onion to the pan and saute well until it turns translucent. Add salt and the curry leaves at this point.
Add the washed sama rice to the onion and roast for a while. Add one cup of water. Cover and cook it on medium flame until the rice absorbs all the water in the utensil.
