Dragon chicken is a crispy, sweet and spicy appetiser that has a burst of flavours in every bite. It is an Indo-Chinese speciality that can be eaten as a snack or paired with some noodles or plain rice to make a delicious and filling meal. These fiery chicken bites can also be a perfect accompaniment to chilled beer.Here is a quick recipe to make Dragon Chicken at home.


Ingredients

Serves 1
  • chicken

    200 grams

  • black pepper

    1 teaspoon

  • refined flour

    3 tablespoon

  • cornflour

    2 teaspoon

  • baking powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • salt

    As required

  • garlic powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • ginger

    1/2 teaspoon

  • eggs

    1 Numbers

  • red chilli powder

    4 tablespoon

  • onion

    1 wedge

  • green bell peppers

    1/4 cup

  • yellow bell pepper

    1/4 cup

  • red chilli sauce

    3 tablespoon

  • ketchup

    3 tablespoon

  • soy sauce

    2 tablespoon

  • salt

    As required

  • sesame seeds

    As required

Preparation

Step 1

Marinate the chicken strips with pepper and salt.

In a bowl, mix flour, cornflour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, pepper and an egg. Whisk nicely. Add chilled water and whisk again. Keep aside.

Add the chicken to the spice mix and combine well. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
