  • turmeric powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • ghee

    1 tablespoon

  • dried red chillies

  • chat masala

    1/2 teaspoon

  • red chilli powder

    1/4 teaspoon

  • garam masala

    1/4 teaspoon

  • cumin powder

    1/2 teaspoon

  • lemon juice

    1/2 Numbers

  • tomato

    1 Numbers

  • onion

    1/2 Numbers

  • green chillies

    2 teaspoon

  • beetroot

    As required

  • papad

    1 Numbers

  • nylon sev

    1 teaspoon

  • coriander leaves

    1 tablespoon

  • mint leaves

Preparation

Step 1

In a pressure cooker add soaked moong dal and water. Add salt, turmeric powder and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Transfer the dal to a bowl.

In a pan, take ghee and fry dried red chillies. Add the tadka on top of the dal.
