Its raining outside and the only thing comes into our head is chai and pakora. Onion pakora recipe is prepared by mixing sliced onions with besan and other spiceS, mainly red chilli powder and ajwain. Later the coated onion slices are deep fried in oil until they turn golden brown in texture. It’s a perfect tea time snack option.

Take sliced onion in a large bowl. Mix salt to it.
Add gram flour, rice flour, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, baking soda, coriander leaves, green chillies chopped and salt.
Mix well using spoon. Add water and mix all the ingredients such that sliced onion is coated well with flour batter. Do not add more water unless required – if batter becomes too watery or thin then pakodas will not turn crispy.
