Blooming quesadilla ring

Hola everyone! Let's give a Spanish twist to teatime snacks today with a blooming quesadilla ring -- a snack so pretty that you almost wouldn't want to eat it. This chicken quesadilla recipe is flavourful, easy and a real treat for the eyes and mouth. Here is a simple recipe.


Ingredients

Serves 4
  • oil3 tablespoon
  • onion1/2 cup
  • garlic1 tablespoon
  • green chilli2 Numbers
  • capsicum1/4 cup
  • red bell pepper1/4 cup
  • yellow bell pepper1/4 cup
  • chicken500 grams
  • cumin powder1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder1 teaspoon
  • tomato puree1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves2 tablespoon
  • cheese1 cup
  • tortilla6 Numbers

Preparation

Step 1

Heat some oil in a pan and add onions, garlic and chilies. Sauté till translucent. Add salt to taste.

Add bell peppers and let them cook for 2 minutes. Add the chicken, fry for five to six minutes.

Mix in the spices. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the puree. Cook the mixture till it dries up.

Add coriander and mix well. Remove from heat.

Now cut tortilla sheets into 3 quarters.

Take 1 tbsp filling and add it to one quarter of the tortilla. Roll it into a cone.

Repeat this process with all tortilla quarters and place them on a plate in the shape of a flower.

Top with grated cheese. Bake at 200 C for 5-6 minutes till the cheese has melted properly.
