Chicken seekh kabab is a juicy, flavourful and succulent dish which is a blend of traditional aromatic spices and seasoning. The spiced chicken can be moulded onto skewers, foil or satay sticks, according to what is easily available to you. This is a great party snack which everyone loves and can be severed with Mint Chutney, Yogurt Dip or Pickled Onions. It is an ideal dish if you are on a diet since it is high on protein & fat and very low on carbs.


Ingredients

Serves 4
  • chicken2 cup
  • onion1 cup
  • ginger1 tablespoon
  • garlic1 tablespoon
  • garam masala1 teaspoon
  • chaat masala1 teaspoon
  • green cardamom1 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves1 tablespoon
  • lemon juice1 tablespoon
  • oil4 tablespoon
  • satay sticks8 Numbers

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, mix together the minced chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, chaat masala, garam masala, green cardamom powder, fresh coriander, lemon juice, Oil and salt.

Heat the tawa and drizzle some oil on it. Wet your hands, take a little chicken mixture and spread it around a satay stick. Press firmly and place the seekh kababs on the tawa.

Cook, turning from time to time, so that they are cooked evenly.

Brush it with butter at regular intervals. Serve hot.
