In a bowl, take maize flour, whole wheat flour, salt and red chilli flakes. Mix them well. Gradually add in cold water and knead it into a soft dough. Cover with a damp cloth and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
See VideoIn another bowl, add all the spices for the spice mix and mix well. Take one portion of the dough, roll it into a ball and flatten it. Take a rolling pin and roll it into a thin chapati/sheet. Cut the rough edges with a knife or cutter.
See VideoPrick this sheet with a fork. Heat a pan or tawa and cook this sheet lightly from both sides without ghee or oil. Transfer to a plate and cut it into triangles (8 equal pieces)
See VideoNow heat oil in a pan for deep frying and fry these triangles until golden & crisp. Transfer to a parchment paper to remove excess oil and then to a plate. Add the prepared spice mix. Nachos are ready!
