  • boneless chicken500 grams
  • lemon juice2 tablespoon
  • turmeric powder1/4 tablespoon
  • oil1/4 cup
  • onion paste1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste2 tablespoon
  • red chilli powder2 tablespoon
  • coriander powder2 tablespoon
  • cumin powder1 tablespoon
  • garam masala1 tablespoon
  • coriander leaves2 tablespoon
  • cashew paste2 tablespoon
  • green chillies1 tablespoon
  • black pepper powder As required
  • tomato puree1/2 cup
  • yogurt1/2 cup
  • kasoori methi1 tablespoon

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, put the chicken, salt, turmeric powder, and lemon juice and mix well. Let it marinate.

Heat a pan. Add oil and onion paste. Stir fry the paste until it turns brown.

Add ginger garlic paste to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Now, add cumin powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, and turmeric powder, and mix them together.

Add cashew paste and cook on low heat for 3-4 minutes.

Now, add the marinated chicken to the pan, and mix well.

Add tomato puree, black pepper, water, and mix well. Now, add salt, as per taste, green chillies, and cover the lid to cook it for 5-6 minutes.
