Hot chocolate bombs for a cold winter morning

Winter is approaching. It's time for cosy mornings with cups of hot chocolate. Try this simple hot chocolate bombs recipe: cocoa and marshmallow encased in a chocolate shell that you can simply dunk hot milk on. Stir it up and voila! Make it ahead of time to gift your friends and family for Christmas.


Ingredients

Serves 2
  • dark chocolate100 grams
  • white chocolate100 grams
  • marshmallows12 Numbers
  • drinking chocolate powder6 tablespoon
  • sprinkles As required
  • hot milk2 cup

Preparation

Step 1

Melt 100 gm of chopped dark chocolate until smooth using a double boiler.

Repeat the process with white chocolate to form a smooth, thick liquid.

Pour the melted chocolates in dome-shaped moulds ensuring you line the molten liquid thinly and evenly.

Refrigerate the moulds for thirty minutes and then demould.

Place a pan on medium heat and put the chocolate domes on it momentarily so that the edges melt slightly.

Fill a dome with chocolate powder and marshmallows and place an empty chocolate dome on top to form a sphere. Seal the edges.

Drizzle melted chocolate top and sprinkle a few sprinklers to garnish. Your chocolate bombs are ready to serve.
