Dal is a part of our staple diet plan and, Dal palak has given a very nutritious angle to it. It’s a highly nutritious and basic dish. This dish is a combination of Moon Dal and Spinach and some other spices. Preparation time is less than 30 mins & the dish can be consumed in lunch or dinner. It is best served with steamed rice and roti.
Chop up the palak. Take soaked moong dal and put it in a pressure Cooker. Add water, chopped spinach, salt, lime juice and turmeric powder.
See VideoHeat ghee in a small pan. When the ghee is hot, add ginger, garlic, asafoetida, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, dry red chili and green chilli.
