  • garlic8 cloves
  • ginger1 piece
  • dried red chillies4 pieces
  • sugar1/2 tablespoon
  • spring onions1/2 cup
  • red capsicum1/2 cup
  • green capsicum1/2 cup
  • yellow bell pepper1/4 cup
  • roasted peanuts1/4 cup
  • red chilli sauce2 tablespoon
  • tomato ketchup1 tablespoon
  • soy sauce1 tablespoon
  • white pepper1 tablespoon
  • salt As required
  • corn starch2 tablespoon
  • water100 mililitre

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the potatoes into cubes. Fry the potatoes until they are crisp and golden brown.

Saute the garlic and ginger for 2-4 minutes.

Add the dried red chillies, spring onions, capsicum, sugar and peanuts to the pan. Mix well.

Add red chilli sauce, ketchup, soy sauce and white pepper to the pan and mix well.

Add 100 ml water. Add cornstarch slurry to the pan. Add the fried potatoes to the slurry and bring to boil. Serve hot with a sprinkling of spring onions.
