  • oil2 tablespoon
  • paneer200 grams
  • onion1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste1 tablespoon
  • tomato1 cup
  • green chilli1 tablespoon
  • garam masala1 teaspoon
  • salt As required
  • kashmiri mirch powder1 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves As required
  • oil2 tablespoon
  • butter2 tablespoon
  • cumin seeds1 tablespoon
  • onion paste1 cup
  • ginger garlic paste2 tablespoon
  • salt As required
  • green chilles1 tablespoon
  • coriander powder1 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder1 tablespoon
  • garam masala1 teaspoon
  • tomato puree1 cup
  • water200 mililitre
  • fresh cream4 tablespoon
  • kasuri methi1 tablespoon
  • papad4 Numbers

Preparation

Step 1

In pan heat oil, add ginger, garlic and cook for a couple of minutes. Now add chopped onion and cook for another couple of minutes till they turn translucent. Add finely chopped green chillies, dry spices, salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder.

Now add tomatoes and cook it for a while. Once the base gravy is ready, add grated paneer, and mix it well and garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves. let the mixture cool down this mixture at room temperature.

Soften the papad by applying some water and place the paneer mixture in the centre. Roll it and seal the edges. In a heavy bottom pan, shallow fry papad rolls till they are crisp. Cut it into two parts. Keep aside.

Heat oil and butter. Add ginger-garlic paste cook for a couple of minutes till the raw smell goes away. Add onion paste cook for another 5-10 mins. Add finely chopped green chillies, spices, salt, coriander powder, turmeric and garam masala powder. Add tomato puree and cook it for a couple of minutes. Now add water and give it to a boil.

Stir it and cook it for 5 min on low flame. Garnish it with kasturi methi and fresh cream.
