For all you spicy food lovers, thecha stuffed sabudana vada is the perfect snack for you. This dish elevates the normal sabudana vadas with the addition of spicy and flavourful thecha. The vedas are crisp on the outside and melt in the mouth soft on the inside. The spice level in these vadas can be easily adjusted and these double up as a perfect snack to enjoy by yourself in the evening or to serve to the guests with a hot cup of chai. Here is a simple recipe.


Ingredients

Serves 2
  • oil4 tablespoon
  • cumin seeds2 tablespoon
  • garlic12 pieces
  • peanuts1/2 cup
  • green chilles9 pieces
  • salt1 tablespoon
  • sago1 cup
  • potato1 cup
  • peanuts3 tablespoon
  • green chilli1 piece
  • cumin seeds1 tablespoon
  • coriander seeds1 tablespoon
  • lemon juice1/2 teaspoon
  • oil As required

Preparation

Step 1

For the thecha, take a pan and heat some oil in it

Now add salt

Now grind this into a coarse chutney or paste without adding any water
